Summer, 1979, when the Hessmer Baptist Mission was started; began leading the music in 1997

Innis, Louisiana

Husband, Albert; Children: Laurence Townsend, Melissa Townsend Desselle, Evelyn Townsend Renfrow; 7 grandchildren

Education:
Attended La. College 2 years, graduate of Northwestern State University with a BS in Business Education; also a Certified Church Secretary, advanced level

Favorite part of being at HBC:
Seeing God’s hand at work in my life and the lives of others

Something you have learned from being at HBC:
God provides for our every need and He works on His on timetable

Flower gardening, grandchildren, baking

Most people don’t know this about me:
If I thought I would ever need to lead the music at church, I would have stayed at FBC, Bunkie, because I never thought I could do that. But, the Lord never asks us to go or do that He doesn’t provide!
